Tranche 1: Initial Growth Capital (Released)

₹40 Lakhs • May 31, 2025

Initial disbursement released on May 31, 2025, dedicated to immediate production scaling, raw material procurement for heavy forklift assembly lines, and scaling hardware production for VPACS telematics units.

Tranche 2: Commercial Scale Milestone

₹70 Lakhs

Contingent upon closing Financial Year 2025 (FY 2025) with a minimum cumulative revenue of ₹50 Lakhs, validating market traction and commercial product adoption across manufacturing sectors.

Tranche 3: IoT Vertical Expansion Milestone

₹50 Lakhs

Contingent upon achieving a cumulative revenue threshold of ₹70 Lakhs, with at least ₹25 Lakhs generated specifically from the new IoT and digital fleet management vertical (VPACS).

Strategic Deployment of Funds

The capital infusion will be deployed across three core growth pillars:

1. Accelerating VPACS IoT Telematics & AI Analytics

Deepening R&D on our proprietary VPACS (Vizai Predictive Analytics & Charging System) platform. This includes deploying next-generation edge-computing IoT sensor kits for multi-brand forklifts and stackers, advanced battery telemetry (voltage curve analytics, depth-of-discharge tracking, thermal profiling), and real-time collision/impact alert modules.

2. Scaling Heavy Equipment Manufacturing & Custom SPM Automation

Expanding the manufacturing and assembly capabilities for Vizai's signature line of Electric & Diesel Forklifts, Hydraulic Stackers, and customized Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) tailored for industrial clients in automotive, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and port logistics.

3. Broadening Field Service Network & Spare Parts Hubs

Expanding our 24/7 on-site emergency breakdown response fleet and setting up localized genuine OEM spare parts depots across key industrial corridors including Chennai (Ambattur, Guindy, Sriperumbudur, Oragadam), Coimbatore, Hosur, and Madurai.

Leadership Perspectives & Gratitude

Speaking on this funding milestone, the co-founders of Vizai Engineering — Santhosh Kumar Ayyamperumal, Baskar Chelladurai, and Prakash Balasubramanian — shared:

"We are immensely grateful to the Government of Tamil Nadu, the MSME Department, and StartupTN (TANSIM) for believing in our engineering vision and supporting our journey. This ₹1.6 Crore investment provides both the financial muscle and institutional backing to accelerate our mission: delivering smart, connected, and heavy-duty material handling machinery that rivals global standards while remaining engineered and manufactured right here in Tamil Nadu."

Vizai Engineering extends heartfelt thanks to the entire leadership team at StartupTN (TANSIM), mentors, ecosystem partners, and our valued clients for their unwavering trust and collaboration.
